Hey, Guys this is a quick and easy to follow guide i made for all the people who want to enjoy BoTW. I made it to so you can easily setup the emulator as fa. Hey guys, I ripped a.wud file of BOTW, After I boot it up on Cemu, the game tells me that I need to perform a 'system update', googling around I found that the problem is that you need the game update (and DLC?) since v1 of BOTW had a day one patch and is broken without it. Therefore, whether you have an authentic game or not, or whether you have possession of a Nintendo ROM for a limited amount of time, i. 4 that it was now a good time to create a guide on how to set up Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild as the game is in a relatively good spot in terms of playable compatibility. Installing The Legend of Zelda: BotW in CEMU Step 1 – Launch Cemu emulator and select Files Install game updates or DLC. Step 2 – Locate Helper EX folder in Cemu Folder (which we created before). Go to update file of game and Select “ meta.xml ” from meta folder. Prerequisites

Amtemu v0 9.2 painter dmg. We assume that you already know how to get the game DLC in decrypted/extracted format. However, should you need any assistance refer to the Getting Started guide.

Automatically

'File->Install game update or DLC'. Find the meta.xml file of the update or DLC in the meta folder of it.

Manually on older versions

For Cemu to correctly load patches all you have to do is to place the updated game files in:

mlc01usrtitle<titleId_upper8Digits><titleId_lower8Digits>aocor

mlc01usrtitle<titleId_upper8Digits><titleId_lower8Digits><aoc_titleId>

If this directory doesn't exist, make sure to be on the most current update of the game (link below,) and then follow the steps further below:

How to create or find the mlc01usrtitle..aoc folder and install the DLC

If you have correctly installed the most recent Updates to the specific game, you can effectively skip to Step 4.

1. Start your game in the emulator and then close the emulator.
2. Open log.txt in the Cemu folder and look for the line:
   Mounting local storage (updates): .mlc01usrtitle00050000101XXXXX
3. Return to your Cemu folder and navigate to mlc01usrtitle and if they don't exist, create the 00050000 folder and within it, create the 101XXXXX folder.
4. In the last newly created folder .101XXXXX you create a folder named aoc and copy your DLC data within, consisting of 3 folders. (Code, Content, Meta.)

For example, patching the US version of MK8 you should end up with a folder structure that looks like this:

Tested and working with 1.15.10 without making any changes to the code, but releasing an update with some improvements to the layout.

-Improved giant link cheat so it's more stable

Added some fun stuff.
-Swap enemies for another (want to make all enemies Dark Beast Ganon?). I'm not certain, but activating one of these may be permanent, so don't save.
-Change the size of link. I added a tiny link cheat and a giant link cheat, but if you want to customize his size, those options are under the BaseValues cheat. I haven't found the addresses of weapon sizes yet..so, giant link tiny sword, or little link GIANT SWORD!! haha Also, when you climb or ride horses, link pops back to his regular size during.
Both of these are a little buggy still, but fun nonetheless. Post screen shots! I want to see your custom size link!

Cemu Botw Cheats

-Added xyz coordinates. Useful for tons of stuff. For example, set a hot key (such as jump) to the z coord and set it to increase by 5 (or somewhere around there). Works as a super jump. Be careful, since this is coordinates, if there is an object above you, you'll go through it. Speaking of going through things.. You can use coords to go through gates, walls, floors, ceilings, etc. Makes divine beasts much easier. Walk toward the obstacle and notice if the number goes up or down and adjust accordingly.

Also, I've discovered if you replace an inventory item with an item of a shorter string, the item becomes invalid due to the left over bytes of the previous longer string not getting cleared. Working on it! In the mean time, when you notice a swap has caused an invalid item/weapon, just right click the address and choose browse memory. Notice the text string of the item on the right, you'll simply need to manually write 00 bytes into the memory section (left side - hex area) following the end of the item name.

Spawn (almost) anything including NPC's:
In one of the inventory slots, you'll see '@Normal_Arrow'. This is your regular arrow. Replace the text with another item (not armor - will freeze) and shoot an arrow. You'll spawn that item. Works for rupees, weapons, items, heart containers, NPC's, etc. Do not pick up the item until you've switched your inventory back to @Normal_Arrow or the game will freeze. Also, it's a good idea to shoot some arrows onto the ground before you do this so you can pick them back up after you've spawned your items. Spawning other items resets your arrows back to 0.

Modified script technique to LUA to allow for smaller AOB's and hopefully increase compatibility. Calling attachment 'InDev' until I hear that the cheats are working for people. Tested with BOTW 1.3.0 and CEMU 1.8.1b

-Several speed levels (links walking speed)
-Weapon/Shield swapping (limited, until I learn how to pass the control to the user)

8. Autokill (Note: Kills everything! Enable as needed! Make sure infinite health or invincibility is enabled first or Link will die. Also, weapons will break with 1 use while enabled, so don't use them while activated!) Disable = everything back to normal.
9. Praying is free (must have had orbs before, even if 0) (only tested on 1.7.5)
