Sinopsis
Menceritakan tentang wanita SMA yang bernama Miyamizu Mitsuha yang tinggal disebuah pedesaan. Dirinya merasa bosan hidup didesa tersebut dan berpikir untuk hidup di Tokyo sebagai siswa SMA. Sementara di Kota terdapat siswa SMA bernama Tachibana Taki yang bekerja keras dalam pekerjaan paruh waktunya untuk mengejar cita-citanya dimasa depan dalam bidang arsitektur.
Suatu hari Mitsuha terbangun diruangan yang bukan rumahnya sendiri, melainkan rumah orang di Kota Tokyo. Dan lebih anehnya lagi dirinya terbangun sebagai laki-laki dan ditempat lain Taki terbangun disebuah pedesaan dan mendapati dirinya didalam tubuh wanita. Dalam hal yang aneh ini, mereka mencoba mencari jawaban atas apa yang terjadi satu sama lain. Mereka berkomunikasi lewat coretan ditubuh mereka atau catatan yang mereka tinggalkan di HP atau kertas.
Kimi no Na wa mengikuti cerita Taki dan Mitsuha dalam menyelesaikan masalah mereka masing-masing yang menjadi keadaan dramatis. Dan juga bagaimana cara mereka menjalani hidup mereka dalam tubuh yang bertukar. Bagaimana kisah selanjutnya?
